The Genuine Ford?5C2Z-6K854-AA?is a complete OEM Turbocharger Inlet Pipe Assembly, commonly referred to as the "Up Pipe" assembly for the 6.0L Powerstroke engine. This critical one-piece unit replaces the original two-piece design (separate left and right pipes), connecting both the driver and passenger side exhaust manifolds directly to the turbocharger's turbine inlet. Its primary function is to efficiently and securely channel high-temperature exhaust gases into the turbocharger to drive the compressor. Upgrading to this revised one-piece assembly is a well-known solution to eliminate common leaks and boost pressure loss associated with the failure-prone factory two-piece design, thereby restoring optimal engine power, turbo response, and fuel efficiency.
